deckdown's Issues

Add instructions to README

It isn't obvious how to make it go!

Prob just need to explain:
0. npm install (etc)

  1. edit the markdown in /pres/test.md
  2. run node deckdown.js
  3. open /pres/test.html

Remove Transitions

Hey Alan, Thanks for the amazing tool. I just discovered Deckdown.

As a huge fan of markdown it makes me really happy being able to use markdown for simple and easy to make slideshows.

I downloaded the .html and .css to change the font for my presentation, it works perfectly.

I just can't figure out how to remove the transitions.
I actually really like them, but when I record my screen it doesn't run as smooth, so I need to disable the square/cube transition into a simple change of slide (no transition).

I'm not a programmer, so I don't know how to modify java script. Can you point me in the right direction to remove the transitions.

Thanks,
-Santi

Pass markdown filename in via command line

I should be able to run node deckdown.js {preso_name} where preso_name is the markdown file to convert. The HTML should be saved alongside the preso name in the same dir.

Also consider renaming /pres to /presentations or decks.

gh-pages branch

would be handy to have a gh-pages branch to show off what this thing can do!
