design's Issues

Grids!

Let's talk about grids! The goal of this issue is to discuss the benefits of what we are using, and decide what grid we can use as a general standard so we are all using the same thing. ๐Ÿ˜„

Here are all the projects who are using different web grid frameworks, and what those grids are:

18f.gsa.gov/dashboard, EITI

  • Bourbon.io
  • 12 column grid
  • ~980 px desktop size

myUSCIS

  • Bootstrap
  • 12 column grid
  • 30px gutters
  • ~970 px desktop size

myRA

  • Bourbon Neat
  • 12 column grid
  • 1088 px desktop size

Midas

  • Bootstrap
  • 20px gutter

Please add anyones I am missing (which is a lot). So far the consensus looks like its a 12 column responsive grid.
