I tried using some bios found online, but with no luck.
The vbios of my gpu is inside the BIOS of my computer, SONY VAIO VPCL12S2E all in one, so I dumped the bios and then with ami mmtool I dumped the vbios. The problem is that NVCAP calculator does this:

Read ROM file /Users/giulio/Desktop/gt240m1.rom, which is 44731 bytes long
DCB header is at 0x9d69 with length 0xcf
DCB Version 13.15
Unknown version
Invalid DCB Signature

What can I do? Maybe there were problems dumping the gpu bios?

Hello first of all, I'm sorry for this stupid issue actually isn't an issue probs. I'm trying to use NVCAP but have no idea how to open it. Already spend 1 hour of googling and trying to find related info but there's just no explanation. Could you please help me out how can I open and use it?

Hi, i'm trying to generate a NVCAP for a 680M.
I have two bios that works on my laptop.
One gives me: "DCB Header is at 0xffff with length 0xb2
DCB Version 2.13
To old version - GPU incompatible with macOS
Invalid DCB Signature"
The other:"DCB Header is at 0xffff with length 0xe4
DCB Version 11.2
Unknown version
Invalid DCB Signature"
Is there hope for this board?

I try run in terminal on mac and it doesnt work.

*edit: i solve the problem by drag it on terminal with “chmod +x” then open the tools with right click>open

Hi,

I just installed macOS Big Sur using OpenCore and couldn't get my external monitor to be recognised. I have a NVIDIA Quadro K2100M Graphics Card.

I downloaded the VGA Bios from here: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?did=10DE-11FC-103C-197B

But I get Invalid DCB Signature while trying to load the VBIOS. Is there any way I can fix the error?

Hi

From the picture, you can see that it doesn't show any displays for some reason. I tried calculating the NVCAP by leaving this blank, and my system didn't crash on boot but I now only have one screen. I reverted back to before I tried the legacy Nvidia patching which gave me back my second screen. I tried running your program again both with and without the GPU patch, but they showed the exact same screen (no detected screens). No idea what's causing this, so maybe you have an idea?
