qmenu's Issues

qmenu-vm - Managing applications is broken in QubesOS R4.1

Due to changes in QubesOS R4.1, regarding the way that available applications are marked "selected"(whitelisted to be included in the application menu/qmenu-am) for a domU qube, qmenu-vm (fqvm_applications) is currently unable to manage application status (available and selected(whitelisted)) for domU qubes.

QubesOS-contrib

Hello, @3o14r473 ! Thank you again for contributing this package to @QubesOS-contrib. We've noticed that you've done further development work on this package, and we'd like to make your work available to Qubes users. Would you please submit an update pull request at your earliest convenience? Thank you!

Heya guys, just found out qmenu. Gonna give it a try within the day as I think it will ease my i3 setup on qubes.

Please add some screeshots to portray the project a little better

When qmenu-vm is running, xfce workspace navigation keys stop working

First - this is a lovely alternative, thank you for the work.

The issue I ran into is that I am fairly reliant on ctrl-alt right-arrow and ctrl-alt left-arrow as my primary navigation from workspace to workspace under Qubes R4.0x.

However, while qmenu-vm is executing in dom0, these keys are ignored. In order to navigate to other workspaces, I must exit qmenu-vm.

This is somewhat disconcerting. While hitting esc at the top level (or ctrl-c anyway) will exit qmenu allowing me to navigate again...I feel reluctant to use a tool that is capturing or blocking these important key sequences.
