A pretty simple sudoku solver that I wrote in node.js because I thought it would be fun. It was fun.
The point of this repo isn't actually to solve sudoku, but rather for me to test my ideas about how to create a sudoku-solving computer program.
And it works pretty well... It has been solving all the "hard" sudoku puzzles, but it can't solve many of the "extreme" sudoku puzzles. https://internetsudoku.net/sudoku/
node test.mjsI added a Claude Code version that it wrote in about a minute, and it solves all the puzzles, including the extreme ones.
