This simple project was created as a small demo and practice project for my Java students.
It uses Processing 3 as its core for graphics, inputs etc.
Their goal was to complete the "GameOfLife" class. For each simulation tick, the "saveState" method is called once for every cell, then the "simulate" method is called. To update a displayed state, the method "setDisplayedState" must be called with valid coordinates.
The main window displays the grid, and handle clicks on cells to toggle them when on edit mode. To switch between edit and simulation mode, press "space". By using the left and right arrows, you can speed up or slow down the simulation tick (by default once per second).
