This project is a bootstrap FastAPI application designed for a junior engineer to complete as part of an interview process. The engineer is expected to complete the CRUD operations and fix a bug in the application.

1. Install Dependencies: Ensure you have Python 3.7+ installed. Set up a virtual environment and install the dependencies using:

   python3 -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate
   pip install fastapi uvicorn

2. Run the Application: Start the FastAPI application using Uvicorn:

   uvicorn main:app --reload

3. Access the API: The API will be available at http://localhost:8000. You can view the interactive API documentation at http://localhost:8000/docs.

1. Complete CRUD Operations:

   • Ensure all CRUD operations for the "Item" resource are functioning correctly.
   • Implement any missing functionality in the CRUD endpoints.

2. Fix a Bug:

   • There was an issue with multiple FastAPI app instances. Ensure that the application uses a single app instance for routing.

• Testing: Consider writing tests for the endpoints to ensure they work as expected.
• Enhancements: Feel free to add any additional features or improvements to the application.
