This is a simple example of how to use Grafana Tempo with OpenTracing in a simple Symfony app.

Most of the Docker Compose setup is taken from https://github.com/grafana/tempo/tree/main/example/docker-compose.

• Docker
• Local PHP >=8.1
• Symfony-CLI
• Composer

• Clone this repo
• Run composer install
• Run docker compose up -d
• Run symfony serve
• Open http://localhost:8000 in your browser to access the Symfony app.
  • Open http://localhost:8000/slow in your browser to access a time-consuming endpoint.
• Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to access Grafana.
