This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.
NBA is no doubt an exciting sports and produces many famous superstars generation by generation. Because of that, fans usually argue against each other to prove some player is better than the others. But most of fans' arguments depend on baised views instead of strong data analysis, which make the whole debate seem meaningless.
This website aims to provides communities of NBA fans with clearly visualized stats of NBA players to improve the quality of the posts of debate.

if you are a Windows user:
node.js: Binaries, installers, and source tarballs are available at https://nodejs.org/en/download/.
To check if you have Node.js and npm installed, run this command in your terminal:
node -v
npm -v
If you are a Mac user, you don't need to install any prerequisites
In your command line/terminal, type in:
git clone [email protected]:DarkAlexWang/StatsBoard.git
In your command line/terminal, type in:
npm start react
When you launch the project, you will see the candid dashboard with player's info on left panel and shot graph on the right

You can switch freely between hexbin and scatter graph and set minimum shot frequency

After logged in, you may add one player or more to compare their shot graph, more functions are under development...
