README

dsh-tui

A Claude Code / Codex-style terminal REPL for DeepSeek Harness. It rides directly on dsh-base — the same coding agent, tools, model selection, credentials, and permissions as the Web app — but with no browser/HTTP layer: it is a plain terminal process.

Note: the repository is named dsh-tui; the npm package is dsh-tui-easy.

Install

npm install -g dsh-tui-easy
deepseek

On first run, deepseek installs the @deepseek-ai/dsh harness and the bundled tui profile into %DSH_HOME%, then drops you at the ❯ prompt. It keeps the harness up to date automatically (throttled, once per 12 hours).

Quick start

deepseek # new interactive session
deepseek -c # continue the most recent session
deepseek -r # pick a recent session to continue
deepseek -r <id> # continue a persisted session
deepseek --list # list persisted sessions
"Summarize this repo" | deepseek # scripted / CI (plain-text output)

Type /help inside the REPL for the full command list.

Repository layout

Path Purpose
