I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Slack, a fierce advocate for diversity in tech, and a doting Corgi mom. 👩🏽‍💻

I hold a BS in Computer Science from Hampton University and an MS in Computer Science from Cornell Tech. I've been working full-time as a software engineer since June 2017, with 8+ years specializing in frontend engineering, React, TypeScript, and AI-assisted developer tooling.

I'm currently on Slack's DevXP pillar, focused on AI adoption and developer productivity. I build agentic workflows and internal tooling that help engineers move faster with AI. I also previously worked on the Messaging, Productivity & Growth teams at Slack as a product engineer or engineering manager.

Outside work, I've spoken at 100+ events and logged 250+ hours mentoring engineers through technical and behavioral interview prep. 🚀

I'm based in the San Francisco Bay Area with my two Corgis, Luna and Sueño. 🐾 I was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, and I identify as Peruvian-American. 🇵🇪

I'm passionate about making technical leadership more accessible, especially for Latinas and underrepresented engineers. 💛
