README

Xbox 360 Low Level Emulator

Xenon is an Xbox 360 emulator written in C++ available for Windows and Linux.
Experimental, currently only small programs work.
For the latest news on Xenon, watch our YouTube channel.
For those who want to support the project, a Kofi page is available for donations!

Status

Important

Xenon is an early stage emulator, so don't expect games/demos to run.

Currently, XeLL (Xenon Linux Loader), Linux (ppc64-xenon), and LK (Little Kernel, lk-ppc) are the only working programs

Special Thanks

The following projects were of great help to us in making Xenon:

  • Xenia-Canary: Helped find registers and understand more about how the Xbox 360 works.
  • shadPS4: A good part of the logger comes from shadPS4 and saved us a lot of time thanks to its good quality code.
  • RPCS3: Helped us with the whole PPU part and the operation of the PowerPC architecture.

Contributing

We need talented developers more than ever to contribute to the project and move emulation forward!
