This minor mode when enabled, will track recently closed files in emacs and enable you to restore them.
Inspired by the Ctrl-Shift-T feature available in all modern browsers today.
C-S-y is an alternative key binding which can be used to show the list of recently closed files and assist in choosing one of those.
You can install this package from Marmalade
M-x package-install track-closed-files
And then add the following lines to your config
(require 'track-closed-files)
(track-closed-files-mode)$ cd ~/.emacs.d/vendor $ git clone git://github.com/jaskirat/track-closed-files-mode.git
In your emacs config:
(add-to-list 'load-path "~/.emacs.d/vendor/track-closed-files.el")
(require 'track-closed-files)
(track-closed-files-mode)
