This is a technical demo for a cross-platform physics simulation that runs on the GPU.
You can look at the WebDemo here. Use the mouse to orbit around, and the spacebar to throw sphere.
I am not that proficient with web technologies, but I love the convenience of sharing a demo with a link! I figured out a way to iterate on a native desktop application with my usual tools and then export everything to the web. This is what this demo achieves.
Known issues:
- I have not figured out a way to resize the viewport yet.
- The web demo runs at the screen refresh rate.
The physics solver is lacking a broad phase. While any current GPU can comfortably simulate that many spheres… this would not scale.
