lollms-coder

A powerful agentic coding assistant CLI powered by the lollms_client library. Provides an interactive environment for AI-assisted software development with support for multiple LLM backends, project management, code execution, and more.

Installation

From PyPI (when published)

pip install lollms-coder

From Source

git clone https://github.com/ParisNeo/lollms_coder.git
cd lollms_coder
pip install -e .

Quick Start

  1. Run the setup wizard (first time only):

    lollms-coder-setup
    # or
    lollms-coder
  2. Create a new project:

    /project new my_project
    
  3. Start coding! Type your requests in natural language.

Usage

CLI Commands

Once inside the interactive shell:

Command Description
/help Show all available commands
/project new <name> Create a new project
/project switch <name> Switch to another project
/project ls List all projects
/ls List code artefacts
/commit Write artefacts to disk
/run <file> Execute a Python file
/shell <command> Run shell command
/test Run pytest
/get <url> HTTP GET request
/post <url> [body] HTTP POST request
/ps List running processes
/kill <pid> Stop a process
/git status Git status
/git commit <msg> Git commit
/clear Start new discussion
/quit Exit

Configuration

Configuration is stored in ~/.lollms/coding_cli/config.yaml. Run /setup to reconfigure.

Development

# Install in development mode
pip install -e ".[dev]"

# Run tests
pytest

# Format code
black src/
ruff check src/
