A small Chrome extension that adds a Queue button beneath X’s post composer. Write a post, click Queue, and it picks the next slot using X’s existing scheduling workflow. X handles delivery—Chrome doesn’t need to stay open.
No build tools or terminal required.
- Download the ZIP. You can also use Code → Download ZIP on this repository.
- Extract the ZIP into a folder you’ll keep, such as
Documents/Extensions/xueue-main. Don’t select the ZIP itself or delete the extracted folder afterward. - Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome and enable Developer mode in the top-right corner. - Click Load unpacked and select the extracted
xueue-mainfolder—the one containingmanifest.json. Xueue should appear in your extensions list. - Open or refresh x.com, sign in, and open the post composer. Click Enable in the Queue row, review the data notice, and choose Agree and enable Xueue to start using the queue.
Write your post normally, then click Queue to schedule it for the time shown. The gear opens Queue settings, where you can change your posting hours and the minimum and maximum gap between posts.
Defaults:
- 6am–10pm Eastern local time, with daylight saving handled automatically.
- 45–90 minutes between slots, chosen randomly.
- Slots that would fall outside your posting hours move to the next available window.
Use Open X’s scheduled posts to review or edit posts already scheduled. Changing queue settings only affects new slots, not posts already scheduled on X.
Xueue handles account identifiers and queue records locally, and reads post text temporarily to schedule through X. It has no developer backend or analytics. Its use of user data is limited to its disclosed scheduling purpose and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy’s Limited Use restrictions. Read the privacy policy for details.
- Settings and queue records are saved per account in this browser. Posts scheduled elsewhere aren’t imported.
- If X’s confirmation is unclear, the queue stops rather than retrying. Check X’s scheduled posts, then resolve the slot in Queue settings.
- This version targets X’s English-language web interface. Changes to X’s layout can require an extension update.
- X’s automation rules prohibit scripting its website and warn of possible account suspension. Review those rules before using this extension.
Download and extract the latest ZIP, replace the files in your existing extension folder, click Reload on Xueue in chrome://extensions, then refresh X.
