JEI Cache avoids rebuilding JEI's vanilla item-stack list from every creative tab on each startup. JEI plugins, custom ingredient types, filters, aliases, recipes, visibility rules, and runtime indexing still initialize normally.
The cache is scoped to the connected server or integrated world and invalidated when relevant mods, registries, feature flags, permissions, or JEI display settings change. Cache files are compressed, checksummed, size-bounded, and replaced atomically.

Install NeoForge and JEI 19.27.0.343 for Minecraft 1.21.1, then place the JEI
Cache JAR in the client instance's mods directory.
Requires Java 21 and uses Gradle 9.5.1:
./gradlew buildDevelopment builds prefer the local JAR at
../../jei-1.21.1-neoforge-19.27.0.343.jar; CI resolves the same version from
BlameJared's Maven repository.
