1. Run a full build:

cd stillweb
npm install
npm run build

2. Open chrome://extensions
3. Enable Developer mode
4. Click Load unpacked
5. Select the stillweb folder (the one containing manifest.json)

Reload any open tabs after installing.

• Network blocking — filter lists are compiled into Chrome declarativeNetRequest rules at build time
• Cosmetic blocking — hides leftover ad boxes and annoyances on the page itself
• Toggle — click the StillWeb icon to turn protection on or off

npm run build        # icons + filter rules + bundle
npm run build:rules  # refresh filter engine + DNR rules only
npm run bundle       # rebundle JS only

After changing source files, run npm run bundle and click Reload on the extension card in chrome://extensions.
