docker-templates's Issues

[BUG] - Pterodactyl Daemon - Can't configure

Describe the bug
I have installed the docker containers for the Pterodactyl Panel and Daemon from the Community Applications plugin in Unraid. I left all the settings on default. When I try to configure the daemon by using the "Auto Deploy" option, or by placing the configuration file. The daemon then tries to initialize.
After a few seconds the docker container crashes and it throws this error in the unraid docker logs:
FATAL: [Nov 10 19:30:24.747] failed to configure docker environment error=Error response from daemon: Pool overlaps with other one on this address space
You can see the complete log in the screenshot below.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install the Pterodactyl Panel and Daemon docker container through the Community Applications plugin
  2. Start both docker containers
  3. Configure in the panel a node and location
  4. Copy the daemon configuration from the panel(This can be done by the "Auto Deploy" option, or by placing the configuration file in the daemon.

Expected behavior
That the daemon connects with the panel and it is possible to create servers

Screenshots
https://i.imgur.com/D4LZ2M9.png
Look at the fatal error

Additional context
I have already tried several things, like making a custom network for both docker containers and changing the port numbers.
I think you can ignore the above warning about the time zone.

[BUG] Pterodactyl Daemon

Describe the bug
Upon starting a Pterodactyl server, I recieve an error in logs telling me that I am trying to mount a directory onto a file.

To Reproduce
Here's Everything I've done so far:

  • Install Pterodactyl Web server and connect it to an existing mysql database
  • Add the desired user and login
  • Create the config with the local ip address
  • Copy the config into a config.yml file
  • Install Pterodactyl daemon
  • Add a new path mapping from /etc/pterodactyl to the config file on the unraid server appdata folder
  • Run pterodactyl daemon for the first time
  • Stop pterodactyl daemon
  • Edit the config file and change the interface IP, gateway etc
  • Add a 1 to 1 path mapping to /mnt/user/appdata/pterodactyl/daemon/data/ on both sides
  • Edit the config file for data, archive_directory and backup_directory to /mnt/user/appdata/pterodactyl/daemon/data/ with volumes, archives and backups on the end of each

Expected behavior

Additional context
Please tell me if I installed it correctly as I probably haven't but I couldn't find anthing on the internet with my issue and found no guides to install pterodactyl on unraid. Also, if i get this working is there any way to get allocations to no use the unraid ip and instead one on a different interface. Not really sure if this is a bug but the template seemed more fitting. Thanks for any help you can give me.

[BUG] Filestash Admin Password Failure

Bug Description
Failing to set an admin password

To Reproduce
After a fresh install on UnRAID 6.10.0, opening the web GUI for Filestash, I receive the following error:

Filestash needs to be able to create/edit its own configuration which it can't at the moment. Change the permission for filestash to create and edit '/app/data/state/config/config.json'

[BUG] The moodle template needs a volume mapping to /bitnami/moodledata

Describe the bug
Everytimes I update the container or when I change a variable in the docker template, the container doesn't work after that. I get a 503 error.

When that happens, I need to go into the docker and changer permission to the /bitnami/moodledata manually to daemon:daemon.

I debugged the problem on the github for bitnami:moodle (https://github.com/bitnami/bitnami-docker-moodle/issues/161) and he find out that I needed the volume mapping to bitnami/moodledata. When I did this, everything is working perfectly.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1- install moodle docker
2- Check if container works : ok
3- Changer variable value or add new variable in docoker
4- Container doesn't work anymore : url shows : Invalid permissions detected when trying to create a directory

Expected behavior
I should not have this error after changing a variable, adding a variable or updating the container.

  3. ensure db volume is set
  4. wait for install to complete

Figured the last part was more interesting than the fact it wasnt working?

[Update] ecoDMS Template

Hi,
the ecoDMS container is still in version 18, the current version is 21.
The mountpoints and port have not changed. It is just a different Docker project (https://hub.docker.com/r/ecodms/ecodms).

Optionally the version 18 should be kept as an automatic update is not possible.

Thanks
