play

Play something while waiting for your command to finish.

Sometimes, you run a program that takes a few seconds (or minute), and you don't really want to do other things while it's running. so instead of sitting there and staring at the screen, play something. How do you do it? just prefix your command with play.

Installation

go get -u github.com/a8m/play

Usage

$ play program arg1 arg2...

Things I wanna add

• More games, like: Chrome's dinosaur
• Twitter, and news
• Small math and CS puzzles
• Read blog posts, and papers

play's Issues

Issue with `play` command on Ubuntu.

I really like the idea, only there is an issue on Ubuntu when you try to build the executable, you will get an error telling that play command already exists. Of course you can use the go build -o goplay command for example instead of go install to customize the executable name, but would be great if you can create a Make file and build it from there.
