When installing through Brackets or downloading the zip file, I receive an extension error. If I reboot, it continues to receive the extension error.

If I 'enable for all' in the 'enable extension' section, I see the colors in css .. but ... in my php code, under the switch conditional the 'case' value becomes white in color and therefore invisible. If I disable 'enable for all' the switch case value appears but the css colors disappear.

If I write ... case 'red': ... i.e. with a colon, the word red becomes white and invisible
If I write ... case 'red'; ... i.e. with a semicolor, the word red is visible.

This is happening with light themes only. Dark themes seem to work fine.
And it is happening only with color names!
