Soft Skills Puzzle

This project is an interactive puzzle designed to assess users' soft skills, such as attention to detail, perseverance, and curiosity. The puzzle is deployed on a cloud-hosting website and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.

Tech Stack

The Soft Skills Puzzle is built using the following technologies:

HTML5/CSS3: used for structuring and styling the puzzle website.
JavaScript: used for creating the interactive elements of the puzzle, such as clues, animations, and games.
Node.js: used for server-side scripting and handling user data.
Express.js: used for creating a RESTful API to handle user authentication and data storage.
Bootstrap: used for designing the web-pages with its snippets
MongoDB: used for storing user data and progress.
ReactJs: used for developing the website component by component.

Features

The Soft Skills Puzzle includes the following features:

User authentication: anyone with an email address can create an account and participate in the game. Minimum 5 clues: users must find and solve at least 5 clues to reach the final treasure. Minimum 2 dead-ends: users may encounter dead-ends in their search for clues, requiring them to backtrack and try a different path. Minimum 1 solution: users must find the final clue that leads to the treasure. Progress tracking: the system tracks user data such as time taken for each step and solution accuracy. Save progress: users can return to the puzzle and resume from where they left off. Admin dashboard: a dashboard is available for admins to track and analyze user progress. LeaderBoard: Track your peer progress and maintain your score.

Deployment

The Soft Skills Puzzle is deployed on a cloud-hosting website such as GitHub.io or Netlify. This ensures accessibility and ease of use for users, who can access and solve the puzzle from any device with an internet connection.

To deploy the puzzle locally, you will need to install Node.js and MongoDB. Once installed, clone this repository and run the following commands:

npm install
npm start

This will start the server and allow you to access the puzzle website at http://localhost:3000/
