Verge Tech Stack
- The VergeCurrency site is made using Jekyll.
Fork the vergecurrency.com repo
- Fork the VergeCurrency site, which will enable you to work off of your own development branch
Install Ruby > 2
- In order to contribute to the site, you need to install Ruby > 2. It is encouraged to install Ruby using a Ruby version manager, like RVM or rbenv.
Install Ruby Gems
- Rubygems is installed with RVM and rbenv by default. cd into the project folder and run bundle install.
Start Web Server
- Now that the required gems are installed run the Jekyll webserver using bundle exec jekyll serve
Make Changes and Send a Pull Request
- We will review your changes shortly after you send your pull request and provide any feedback

Add AMD gpu miner's to mining resource page / maybe add some links to tutorials
Create developer resource list, like the verge ruby, php, node.js, python, & c# wrappers
Put chat back in radio page.
Add documentation on rpc commands and flags, for instance, some users might not know they can use a different drive to store their blockchain data using the --datadir=D:\whatever\drive\and\directory\they\want
Create a "Donations" page
Create a "History" page (explaining the re-brand and full timeline of events)
Create a "Team" page (listing main and minor contributors to the project)
Create blog.vergecurrency.com as a platform to write posts about new releases, etc
- Create a "Recent News" section on the homepage that lists the last 3 most recent blog posts
Create Developer Documentation pages
Create a "Media" page showing videos/articles created about Verge
