Maude has metaprogramming but the package cannot support this syntax. For example, if you write a metamodule inside an equation the rest of module won't be highlighted properly.
In my repo named learn there is a source in Maude with metaprogramming that is an example of this issue.

Sorry to bother, but lately I've been using VSCode and the only extension missing is "Language Maude" I read that Code is based on Atom but the extensions on top are different as you can see in this issue on the vscode repository. How difficult would it be to migrate?
