If the goal is just to make it look prettier, but keep the iframe, this is an option: http://www.restylegc.com/

the goal IS just to make it look prettier, but we're just serving static pages (i.e. no php) so that doesn't look feasible. something along those lines would be great though.
i think there are some cool jquery plugins that do this

This looks promising: http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/

Is it just me, or do calendars on websites look terrible? -- I want a feed.
I don't think this would be too hard to do with some jquery/jsonp magic.
I'll take a look at it tonight.

Thoughts?
It won't integrate with Google Calendar. we'd have to put in events ourselves, but it is rather pretty
from adicu.github.com-dep.
Ooh looks stylable and flexible. If its easy to use go for it (I wasn't
crazy about the other jquery plugins we were thinking about)

Looks awesome, but not sure if it's the most flexible given that it's hard to see what's coming up for a given day and it doesn't integrate with the existing gcal infrastructure. Fully ready to be proven wrong though and it does look pretty.
Possibly create JS to populate calendar from gcal?
from adicu.github.com-dep.
Yeah my main concern is that it won't port from gcal.
Idk, we can shop around for other jQuery plugins.
