These aren't mentioned anywhere in the docs, and it's not obvious that one needs to enable hosting_subdirs.

The docs were not updating.

I'm not sure who set it up (@ergonlogic ? ) ... but as I was unable to see build logs I moved it to GitLab CI yesterday.
However read the docs seems to add a /en prefix in the url path, which the new location is missing.
My first attempt at a redirect to counter this failed in 47f2168

I've created a new rtd account to see what happens, here's the buildlog
ERROR - Config value: 'pages'. Error: Invalid pages config.

Did the config format change between versions?

At http://docs.aegirproject.org/en/3.x/install/upgrade/#the-hostmaster-migrate-command, I added instructions for upgrading Drupal core to a new release if one doesn't want to wait for a new Aegir release (say to avoid security vulnerabilities).

However, it's a dangerous in-place recipe. Now that the changes from https://www.drupal.org/node/2698027 are in, we should update these instructions to use hostmaster-migrate instead. It'll now grab the latest stable Drupal core.

It needs more testing though as only @helmo has confirmed that this works.

I guess https://github.com/GetValkyrie/hosting_s3 should be on http://docs.aegirproject.org/en/3.x/extend/contrib/

Could not find any installation guide for Aegir on CentOS except this outdated on https://groups.drupal.org/node/29844. Even-though the http://docs.aegirproject.org/en/3.x/install states:

These instructions provide example commands for a Debian-like distribution, but should be fairly easy to adapt to other environments.

it would be really nice to have the detailed steps for installing Aegir on CentOS 7.x.

Also I wonder if the project is alive at all as the previous issue here (#24) was created back in 2016. Is it still supported?

I have intalled aegir sucess,and can browse aegir on localhost. but i can't browse aegir from other computer.
1,My network environment is Intranet
2, my /etc/hosts configuration is follow:
(aegir is hostname,10.100.96.242 is physical IP,aegir.ahut.edu is Is not a real domain name )

Hello guys,

Finally found some information with my struggles, hopefully you will reproduce the problem and offer piece of advice or if its general issue a proper fix in the future.

I have tried enabling CiviCRM under experimental and it has failed me so many times until I realized that enabling it makes my database, well, bit broken. Broken enough to stop Aegir from verifying configuration and functioning. It is causing PDO exception looking for templatedomain_0.civicrm_domain table that doesnt exist.

In attachment there is install log from Aegir and other one is where verify fails after you enable CiviCRM option.

Mkdocs is looking at integrating collapsible menu navigation: mkdocs/mkdocs#588

We need this due to the large number of pages in our documentation, which makes for an unwieldy nav menu.
