dl-relu's Introduction

Deep Learning using Rectified Linear Units

Abstract

We present a simple comparison of using the rectified linear units (ReLU) activation function, and a number of its variations, in a deep neural network. We present empirical results comparing ReLU functions with Logistic and Hyperbolic Tangent functions in image classification, text classification, and image reconstruction.

dl-relu's Issues

to-do

Add a Flask example for demonstration

'/home/darth/Projects/matlab/emnist-letters.mat' file does not exist

Hi,

in emnist-letters-lenet.py, there's the line:
data = loadmat('/home/darth/Projects/matlab/emnist-letters.mat')
which seem to refer to some matrix stored locally on your private machine. Is it possible to add this matrix to assets?
Also, a brief explanation of the purpose of the code in this file would be great.

Thanks!
Ben
