Reactive Programming Workshop for Clojure

Setup

  • Install lein. To check if it is installed, run:
    lein version

  • Open the `clj` directory with your favorite IDE or editor (that hopefully is Emacs :).
  • Finally install the dependencies of the project with:
    lein deps

Exercises

You can find the exercises in the src/exercises directory. There are two subdirectories one and two for both parts of the workshop. Within each of these directories you will find files labeled exercise-xx.clj which can be executed with lein-exec. Every exercise file contains the necessary information and assignment to solve the exercise. None of the exercises depend on other exercises, so if necessary you can skip exercises (not recommended).

To run an exercise execute the following command in a console:

lein exec src/exercises/one/exercise-01.clj

Reference resources

Visit the ReactiveX documentation page for detailed information about the operators.

Also visit beicon’s documentation for deeper insight about the library.

Solutions

You can find proposed solutions to the exercises in the solutions branch of this repository.
