I think a tray icon is a good idea. and the design needs a more modern look ;-)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open recording list
2. Scroll down to the end
3. Open a sub folder with recordings
4. Go back to the root list

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The list should remember its position. But it jumps back to the top.

I use the app to clean up my recordings.  But it is very annoying that I always 
have to scroll down if I have cleaned up a folder. Keep up this great work!

1. updating vdr to newest version
2. each recording is preceeded by record length(+new recording mark)

- now you get 1 entry for each existing record length 
(grouped below are the recordings with corresponding length)
- device should get a checkbox for "new version" enabling new parsing method

- The Recordings menu now displays the length (in hours:minutes) of each 
recording
  (thanks to Rolf Ahrenberg). Note that the "new" indicator has been moved from the
  recording time to the length column. This new format is also used by the SVDRP
  command LSTR, so in case you have an application that parses the LSTR output,
  you will need to adjust it to the new format.

Have just seen it, perhaps I shall be getting into some debugging.

In the channels view, you can see what is running now and next.
kI'd like to have an option to view what is running at a given time, for 
example tommorow at 20:15

My channels.conf has numbered groups (see ":@201 First group" in "man 5 vdr"). 
I have channels 1-81, 100-108, 201-... and so on.

Since AndroVDR 1.3.2 or a bit earlier, I get the error message '501 - Channel 
"82" not defined' when I use the Timer or Channels button. Older versions 
didn't have that problem.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. edit channels.conf on vdr
2. add line 
"Pro7;ProSiebenSat.1:280250:C0D45:V:0:301+101=2:300=@4:0:0:1:0:4484:0"
3. start AndroVDR and add the new channel number in the channel list setting
4. select "Channels" in the AndroVDR main menu

Expected the EPG, but get the error message "Couldn't parse channel details".

The problem is the source parameter "V" (see step 2). If I change this to "C", 
the error does not appear anymore, but then VDR does not activate the external 
tuner (Hauppauge PVR USB2) if I select this channel (-> "No Signal").

Cannot wake system on local LAN, because Droid and VDR are in different Vlans 
for security reasons.

So it would be nice to have a configurable Wake-IP, which is at 255.255.255.255 
by default and acts as local LAN broadcast like it is now.

You then have the chance to specify a "directed broadcast IP".

So for example Andy is in 192.168.1.0/24, the VDRs reside in 192.168.2.0/24 and 
the router has a configured static ARP of 192.168.2.254 as ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff, 
you would configure androvdr to use the broadcast IP of 192.168.2.254 instead 
of 255.255.255.255.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. place logos from http://copperhead.htpc-forum.de/channellogos.php in 
AndrVDR/logos
2. restart adrovdr app

Only a few logos will match to the channels. But all aff the needed logos are 
availible in the logos directory.

What is the matching criteria for the channel name and the logos ?

I would like to use my ssh-key to authenticate at the ssh tunnel instead of 
entering my password everytime.
Also it would be good to be able to save the rsa-fingerprint which is displayed 
everytime i connect to the vdr from remote.

2. Start the app
3. Check the place where the menu button is supposed to be displayed.

The menu button is missing, it seems to be impossible to configure the app.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

2. Have around 4000 Channels in your channels.conf
3. Click on Channels in AndroVDR

I expect all Channels listed in less than 5 seconds. It took about 15 seconds 
to load 200 Channels.

Maybe use gzip on vdr-plugin-androvdr (server) and AndroVDR (client) to make 
the data-transfer (Channellist + EPG) much faster.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Decrease connected DVB-S/T/C to only one device in your VDR (I know this is 
senseless :-) )
2. Configure streamdev-server to "immer pausieren" - you need it, because if 
you change the channel on AndroVDR it has also to change the viewning-chanel on 
TV, if the channels are not on the same transponder
3. klick on Channels at AndroVDR, select a channel and press long on it -> 
choose LiveTV

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The first time, your VDR will switch the channel and stream it, but after that 
it won't work. Only your picture on the TV will flicker shortly and then 
nothing happens.
If I use VDR-Zapper on my Windows-PC, it works without problems and the VDR is 
always showing "Streamen im Gange", if I change to a channel on an other 
transponder.
It seems to be a timing problem, because it last a little bit longer while 
chaning the channel, if you have only one recieving device in our VDR.

If I connect via browser like http://vdr:3000/channel it is allways changing 
the channel correctly and start streaming :-).

All schedule times are shifted by two hours. This prevents setting a new timer 
as it is also set incorrectly. 

Setup: vdr 1.7.14 on opensuse 11.2, bios clock in local time

Solution proposal: introduce a correction setting for this in the vdr device 
settings of androvdr.

The EditText of the SSH tunnel password input dialog uses autocomplete and so 
the "hidden" password can be seen in the autocomplete line.

A patch (untested - sorry, no time to search all the necessary libs for 
building atm) is attached to the report. Maybe it's necessary to add 
InputType.TYPE_CLASS_TEXT to the flags, too. But for me it worked without that 
flag in my apps.

AndroVDR crashes on Lenovo Yoga 8 tablet running Android 4.2.2.
See attached stacktrace.

The main two pages bounce at their left (or right) edge.
I should find it convenient if they would rotate regardless of shifting the 
page to the right or to the left.

I find myself unable to remember whether I have to shift the current page left 
or right,so I end up with a 50% winning chance to shift to the corect direction.

I encountered the loop through behaviour with the primary nav pages on the ICS 
menu and I liked it very much...

This patch adds Live TV support for VDR devices.
It works with the Reelbox Avantgarde II and hopefully other VDR devices.

On the channels view there's a new context menu called 'Live TV' which allows 
you to stream the channel directly to your android device using your favourite 
video player (VPlayer is known to work well).

I hope it will make it into the next official androvdr release :-).
