In this example, I have used,
- Eclipse Oxygen IDE
- Inbuilt Maven Plugin provided by Eclipse.
- Tomcat 8.5 server
Step1: Fork the repository by clicking on fork. Step2: Go to your repository and click on download button, and copy the URL.
Step3: Add, git plugin in your eclipse using the following: Download EGit from https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.egit/downloads or your eclipse market place. Step4: Follow the steps from (4:38 to 7:42) of the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdsMIX9gB94 Note: use the URL of the fork that you have created in your repository.
Step5: Right click on "JerseyExample" Git Repository, and click on Import projects Step6: Select "JerseyExample\BootstrapExample" and "JerseyExample\RESTfullExample" and click on Finish. Step7: Right click on both projects and Maven > Update Project Step8: Run projects on Tomcat8.5 server as demonstrated in the class.
