Fuzzy

Fuzzy is a python library implementing common phonetic algorithms quickly. Typically this is in string similarity exercises, but they're pretty versatile. It uses C Extensions (via Cython) for speed. The algorithms are: Soundex.

Installation

Use the package manager pip to install foobar.

pip install fuzzy

Usage

# Importing the fuzzy package
import fuzzy
# Importing the pandas module
import pandas as pd
# Importing numpy
import numpy as np


# Exploring the output of fuzzy.nysiis
fuzzy.nysiis(WORD))
