With up-to-date pandoc and MacTex, attempting to make the sample files gives an error. latexmk says:

"Command for 'pdflatex' returned return code 1

and the logs show that latex/beamer is choking on \mode{<presentation>}. Indeed, this is invalid Beamer LaTeX, and reveals that overlay_filter has stopped working to convert this to the valid form \mode<presentation>

pandoc >= 1.18 has a new json output format which gives an error with overlay_filter:

How does one create a references slide at the end of the presentation? I am trying to use the notes style of markdown input.

With this in the yaml section

biblatex: true
biblatex-chicago: false
bibliography: ../sources.bib

# References

\bibliography{path/to/sources}

does not seem to work.

Would you mind providing a license?
