PWA plugin is bringing the power of the Progressive Web Apps to the WP & AMP to take the user experience to the next level! You can give the APP-like experience to your audience which will get your website to their home screen and works instantly like an APP with offline support.
It would be nice if I could call per site manifest and super-pwa script creation. For development environment where I use different domains and I wouldn't need to version these files and settings only using which service worker and manifest would be recreated on deployment. Or something described here: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2017/10/service-worker-single-page-application-wordpress-sites/
The notification says plugin, it doesn't mention anything about the PWA.
it is closable notification, we don't want the users to close it, it should show until the setup is finished.
The notification only displays one time after the plugin activation. If we move away from the page, then there's no notice, meaning we can't know if we require another step. it should always be there until setup is finished.
Its getting conflict with the ultimate-social plugin that why the icons are not loading, Please don't wait for the FTP you can start work with wp which is in the email also you can recreate the issue on the local host.
Hi, how can I configurate the Cache for offline PWA?
The lighthouse tester in chrome tells mi it doesn't work properly!
This is the error message of lighthouse:
User will not be prompted to Install the Web App
Failures: Service worker does not successfully serve the manifest's start_url, Timed out waiting for fetched start_url.
i activate it with ampforwp, since then my admin bar have dissapears, and also when i check if amp working on home and other page, i cannot comeback to normal mode without amp since it's cache by the worker, so i have to empty the worker, to make it work as it should...
One user reported that when the PWA plugin is activated then plugin[because of pwa] caching the admin area and the changes do not apply, so we have to test it on our end.
when I checked the PWA testing report on Lighthouse google testing tool then there are some errors is occurring like
Failures: No manifest was fetched, Site does not register a service worker.
