@JuliaFEM/owners can you test, on a linux machine, if the build.jl works. Basically commands:

julia > Pkg.clone("[email protected]:JuliaFEM/CalculiX.jl.git")

julia > Pkg.build("CalculiX")

should do the trick or if not working please try:

$ cd CalculiX/deps

$ julia build.jl

Next step is to test did we compile the CalculiX correctly. Tests can be found here: http://www.dhondt.de/ccx_2.8p2.test.tar.bz2. I think these should be added to the JuliaFEM/CalculiX-cmake package in the test folder.

Also the build.jl script should run these tests after compiling. There's a compare shell script, which can be edited to run the test, at least in unix like systems.

Very first step should be to use the latest sources from here http://www.dhondt.de/ccx_2.8p2.src.tar.bz2.

I did initial diff already. Most of the files are changed. This can be very easy or very laborious depending how much changes there have been made for the sources when uploaded to the JuliaFEM/CalculiX-cmake repository.
