adventures's Issues

Remind me later for moments

When reviewing my moments, I would like to be able to quickly filter down to the moments that are of interest now, as opposed to the general ones (so, I can see that dinner idea, as opposed to all the summer trips).

A possible solutions would be to have a remind me later button (or something) that allows users to quickly push moments down the list.

Add a plan to a moment

Rather than just providing a description, we could add a plan of items that make up the moment.

Example:
Moment: Let's fly a homemade kite

  1. Buy some sticks
  2. Find some cloth
  3. etc.

How to make `Hearts` more intuitive?

Hearting something isn't really obvious in terms of value to the author's audience. The positive intention for sharing could go one of two ways:

  1. Audience member would like to participate in moment with author (best result).
  2. Audience member wants their own version of the moment to share.

Note: the current system uses hearts as a bookmark-esque feature, so it needs to be made clear to the audience that they should heart a moment to ensure access without the token.

Email new user on registration

When a user registers for the site, they should get an email:

  1. Explaining the 'rough draft' state of the site
  2. Thanking them for trying it.
  3. Asking for feedback

Show moments by hearts

Show the list of moments the user has hearted, rather than just the ones they've hearted.

Track metrics

Metrics to track:

  1. Landing page visits
  2. Registrations
  3. Moments created
  4. Shares (count the visits with tokens)
  5. Hearts
  6. Re-visits

Easy link sharing with copy/paste

Tied to #11, link sharing could also be more friendly. The user should be able to interact with a copy button to have the link immediately available to use without fuss.

Also, rather than just the link, it would be worth exploring having a blurb for them to copy with, such as:

I'd love to [[moment name]] with you! If you're interested, let me know buy visiting [[link]] and telling me.

Allow authors to archive moments

Currently, the list of moments will constantly grow, and there's no way to hide/remove moments that are no longer of interest.
