Suggestion: search for `.*` and `*rc`files

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I don't want to specify .examplerc in the name if the package name is just example.

Describe the solution you'd like
The tool should handle example, .examplerc and examplerc and look at all the options with or without the . and the rc.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Strip the . and the rc from the name and look for all the options and combinations.
