Compiling in Windows 7

Hi:

I need to use this program under Windows 7. I've tried to compile it using Cygwin but I have encountered many problems. Right now I am obtaining the following error. I have searched for a solution on the internet but I haven't found it. I think the error may be caused by some incompatibility between Windows and Unix but I cannot find how to solve it. I hope you can help me.
