Hello,

I am trying to convert a file system to json so It can be indexed by elastic search. I looked at your example code and would like to ask you a few question before I download your converter. I see the only documentation you have is configuring the config file. Do you just open that file up and put your directory in there and that is it? Also do I need to do anything with the node.js for this? I've tried other options and every time I download something and try it out it hasn't worked. I'm looking for a solution that will put these documents into json. Let me know if your product can help.

Dear sir,
first of all I appologize about my poor english.
I choosed assemble as static site generator for a new project where a hierarchical menu-tree is mandatory. As support for this kind of tree is still missing in assemble, i installed grunt-filesystem-to-json with npm i grunt-filesystem-to-json --save-dev to an instance of assemble produced by yenoman's generator-assemble, as a solution for pregenerating the tree as json data before the assemble task.

• My setup doesn't seem to work as expected as the files_to_json target doesn't produce anything.
• Furthermore, i've tested a standalone install of your plugin, cloning it from git, changing to dist dir and then running npm i for deps. I didn't changed anything in the distrib or it's config except by renaming the existing test/data.json in order to see what happens. Unfortunatly, launching grunt with either test or default, or even files_to_json targets doesn't produce any test/data.json.

Would you please give me a hand in order to resolve this issue or refine diagnostic? A short how to may also be really usefull... at least for those newbes like me in the node environment.
