Assignment 2 - C4 Challenge First Step

Develop a program where the robot is able to:

• Locate itself (virtual gps),
• Produce a representation of the map throughout its exploration,

With the following sensors:

• Obstacle sensors.

Independently of the approach to be taken, a log file should be produced that outputs:

• The simulation timestamp at the moment of printing
• The estimated position of the agent in the labyrinth
• The actual position (using the GPS)
• The difference between the last 2 values (we will evaluate the quality of the model by the closeness of this value to .0)

Edit: Previous approach (before edit) would not work.

[C2] Make the robot being able to move exactly 2 cells to the right with PID controller

Objectives:

• The robot should be able to move the closest possible to 2.0 cells
• The faster it does it, the better (critically damped)

How to do it:

• Understand how the PID controller works (we can use another, though)
• Change the code (at mainRobot.py wander function or control_action.py)

How to run:

• $ ./startC2 from ciberRatoTools
• $ python3 C2/mainRobot.py
