An Initiative to write Computer Science Textbooks based on FOSS

There is an acute shortage of computer science textbooks for children ages 6 to 14, in India and other countries, bereft of corporate products and proprietary software.

This project aims to:

• instill the spirit of collaboration in future generations.
• guide the children to be self-sufficient.
• improve digital literacy of children, regardless of the native language.
• nurture the skill of problem solving.

Scope of the project:

• Create e-books, catering to children ages 6 to 14, on the subject of computer science and digital literacy.
• Translate said e-books to all languages.
• Publish and provide the book to all students.
