How to use

This project has only a script which generates Karen for license reasons. You need to build yourself.

1. Clone this repository
2. Prepare toolkits, make, wget, unzip, python and fontforge
3. Just type make on root of this repository
4. You should get Karen-Regular.ttf in out directory

Notice

Generated font is double-licensed, Ubuntu Font Licence and SIL Open Font License 1.1.

karen's Issues

Submodule url can't be used by other

There's permission issue for using ssh. Use https instead.
I've tried https and built successfully. (i.e. https://github.com/amaya382/fontmerger.git)

Adjust several glyphs

• Size of glyphs from GenEiGothicM (a little large compared to alphabetical glyphs)
• Position of *

Support Bold/Itaric

Fix linefeed, ascent/descent
