Compiling and Running Code

• All the source files, .sh files and the directories (inputs, outputs, fastflow) need to be present in the same root folder.
• Fastflow library needs to be downloaded in fastflow directory (git cloning would actually make the fastflow directory itself so no need to create it by your ownself).
• sequential.cpp, parallel.cpp and fastflow-parallel.cpp are the sourcefiles for the sequential, cpp native threads and fastflow implementation respectively.
• compile.sh can be used to compile the source code for sequential.cpp and parallel.cpp by ./compile.sh <source-file.cpp>. It will make the executable file that could be then run. For the sequential code, the method is to run by ./sequential <input-file-path> <output-file-path> and for parallel (native threads implementation), the method is to run by ./parallel <input-file-path> <output-file-path> <num-threads>. Paths are assumed to be relative to the source files. -compile-fastflow.sh is used to compile the fastflow-parallel.cpp file by ./compile-fastflow.sh fastflow-parallel.cpp. The executable file be generated and can be executed by running the command ./fastflow-parallel <input-file-path> <output-file-path> <num-threads>.
