Hi there 👋

While I was doing my self-studies on Udemy, I felt intrigued to take a project further by using EJS with MongoDb where users can interact with the App (Houston we have a back-end! 🛸). This was the first finished product of my efforts. As I wanted to add extra bits, I later recreated the repo under the name "Secrets" and redesigned it. This one might appear as a simple application, but means a lot to me. We can finally interact with the app, not solely front-end. I think this could be a useful project if you want to create a simple Ejs/Mongo/Express/Node fullstack app. For me it was, but I hope you will find it useful too! 🤝

ps.: If you want to see the deployment its hosted on heroku eco-tier the server, it might take 2-3s to spin up, please be patient. 🐨

Run 🚀

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Start with cloning this repo on your local machine via cli or github-desktop:

$ git clone https://github.com/AndrasE/secret-original
$ cd PROJECTNAME

To install and set up the library, run:

$ npm install -S myLib

Or if you prefer using Yarn:

$ yarn add --dev myLib

Add your own credentials:

add own credentials or .env
setup own google and facebook Apis

Serving the app:

$ npm start

Running the tests:

$ npm test

Building a distribution version:

$ npm run build
