mapitoolkit's Issues

Password problem

When using the "-password" parameter, the specified password is not working. I have to enter it directly from Outlook.

Return "Success" but doesn't add the LDAP Address Book into Outlook 2019 Profile

Currently I'm running Outlook 2019 (x86) installed into Windows 10 (x64). MAPIToolkit shows as succeded but the Address Book isn't added into the Outlook profile. Below is the output of the MAPIToolkit command:

\\ad.example.com\NETLOGON\MAPIToolkit\x86\MAPIToolkitConsole.exe -action addservice -servicetype addressbook -configfilepath '\\ad.example.com\NETLOGON\MAPIToolkit\ABConfiguration.xml' -saveconfig true
2020.11.5 10:45:12 SUCCESS Address book service succesfully added
2020.11.5 10:45:12 SUCCESS Action succesfully run on profile: Outlook

LdapABManager works with this Outlook version, but MAPIToolkit doesn't.

Feature Request: Set as "Default" AddressBook

Would it be possible to add an argument, so that we can configure the added addressbook as the "Show this Address list first"
As well as enabling Custom order (setting searchIndex to 1 doesnt help without enabling custom)

Return "Success" even if the -configfile doesn't exists

MAPIToolkit doesn't checks if -configfile exists and return "Success" even if it doesn't exists.

\\ad.example.com\NETLOGON\MAPIToolkit\x86\MAPIToolkitConsole.exe -action addservice -servicetype addressbook -configfilepath '\\ad.example.com\NETLOGON\MAPIToolkit\This_file_does_not_exists.xml' -saveconfig true

uppercase chars

All Upper case characters are converted to lowercase including password , that require you to re configure from outlook itself .

Issue compiling

I'm getting the error "error MSB4019: The imported project "C:\Microsoft.Cpp.Default.props"was not found. Confirm that the path in the declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk".

I'm using the MSBuild found in the .Net Framework 4.0

Using one LDAP server with multiple searchbases

We are using a software called MetaDirectory. This provides several different directories with it's own searchpath. e. g. ou=one,dc=meta and ou=two,dc=meta.
When I try to add our directory only the first is successful. All others fail with:
FAILED A service with the requested configuration already exists

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Over Outlook 2016 I can create different addressbooks with the same servername and different searchbases.
