For Minecraft 1.19-1.20.

Adds a bucket that is only able to remove fluid source blocks, and not store it.

You can also place the bucket on your head (for an armor value equal to Iron and Chainmail helmets)

Just be careful when trying to remove lava, as the bucket will spill a little bit of whatever it tries to pick up.

chainmail-bucket's Issues

request: disable Shift-Click equipping

equipping the Chainmail Bucket with shift-click often causes it to be equipped unintentionally, when the person just wants to take it out of the hotbar, or the other way around, taking it out of the inventory and into the hotbar

in this video I show the problem and compare it with a mod that has a similar function, Server Hats, with which some items can be equipped in the head slot, such as Spyglass, but in this mod the shift-click is optional and can be disabled in the mod settings
