More of a request than an issue ... I'm curious if the SideWinder Game Pad uses 
the same protocol as the 3D joysticks do, and if there's ever been discussion 
to see if it's worth adding support for these devices to the project. I know it 
might be a bit challenging, especially since those pads could daisychain, just 
curious if such a thing had ever been discussed.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to new machine with Joystick connected
2. Wait for drivers to load
3. Joystick does not show up as game controller

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is that the device will immediately show up as game controller.
Generic HID device instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using the latest firmware you have available for the Sidewinder 3D Pro on Win 
8.1 Professional

Please provide any additional information below.
It appears that your firmware does not do a soft disconnect/reconnect like 
other USB game controller devices do once their drivers load. If I disconnect 
the USB cable after driver load and reconnect it, then the device shows up as a 
game controller with all the button testing and calibration options that should 
be there.
