Based on their respective examples and matching solarized-dark.

The theme files are described here (taskwarrior) and here (timewarrior)

It seems the theme files are using the basic color names defined by the terminal

Which of the too should I use and do I want to use this?
Are there differences between the too?

It should contain hints and instructions for how to use this repo.

For example explain how to use gnu stow

As the default Color Preset I preferred (Solarized Dark) has some drawbacks as well as the improved version base16-solarized.dark I want an improved Color Preset.

I am using these two as my base and will change some of the colors to better suite my needs.

While trying to do cd zsht<tab> and there is a file/folder zsh-themes it would be nice that the autocompletion completes to zsh-themes/.

Currently it will not complete anything like that.

The task would be to find out if it is hard/possible to have the completion work as wished.

Find and create a file with settings that I want.

Make the README.md file created in #4 look better.

Make better use of markdown by using hard line breaks using two whitepace characters at the end of lines.

To save more space in the prompt show the current user if it differs from the standard user defined by some variable.

Better even neovim (make the transition right now)

I would prefer to have approx. 1/3 of the terminal width free to enter commands
in contrast to the currently set fixed width of the line that should be left free.

Why, what and do I want this too?

When having a narrow terminal I would prefer to have a potentially long branch name truncated (and a bit more of the path left over).

Is this possible (two conditional truncations working together)?

My prompt specified by the theme seems to not behave well inside a git repository's .git/ folder.

This is most probably due to not doing 2> /dev/null on one of the git commands.

The plugin zsh-dircolors-solarized creates the function setupsolarized.

This function creates a file which contains the color definition, therefore it is unnecessary to call it on every .zshrc invocation.

In my current configuration the keybindings for up and down don't work as expected.

There (stackoverflow) are multiple ways to specify which keys should get send to the terminal.

Create a section to remember which settings I use

Set grep to use --color=auto by default, like it is done in oh-my-zsh
