mevboost.org's Issues

[stats]: consistency patchwork

With becoming the de-facto statistics website and increased traffic, it's become important to maintain correctness:

  • Update sync process with better failovers and escalating restarts
  • Ensure all relays have correctly recorded data (see: potentially BloXRoute, Blocknative inconsistencies)
  • Manually verify reported payload value responses from relays
  • Migrate stats service to better, hands-off infrastructure provider
  • Add site uptime tracking and alerts
  • Filter default builder public key by builder address

Update frequency

Hi, amazing tool!
How often are the different metrics updated? Specifically, the average block value.

Sliding window relay data API

Hello,

First of all, amazing work! Your website is amazing, and I'm sure is attracting a lot of traffic.

I open this issue because it is known that the relay data API of Blocknative has a sliding window, so that it only shows the data of the last 72h. Consequently, Blocknative is showing sudden drops in its block amounts in this website. I wonder if this could be fixed somehow. I have been looking to the code, but I'm not sure what is causing this behaviour.

Do you have any idea?

Thank you!
Aratz

About Local Deployment

Hi Anish, when setting up stats, I met the following problem:

Error: Prisma schema validation - (get-config wasm)
Error code: P1012
error: Environment variable not found: DATABASE_URL.
  -->  schema.prisma:10
   |
 9 | provider = "postgresql"
10 | url = env("DATABASE_URL")
   |

Validation Error Count: 1

I guess it's because I did not specify the DATABASE_URL in the env file. To start running a site locally, what else should I do (like how should I crawl all the block data from the RPC and store them in a PostgreSQL database?)

Filter builder blocks by average fees (all time) and average fees (last 24h/7d/30d/90d)

Currently, the top builders are filtered according to the number of blocks built.

However, a better metric to filter by could be the average fees/block value. See this tweet for more context. This could also be extended for a specific time period (last 24h/7d/30d/90d) for insights on more recent blocks.

@Anish-Agnihotri please let me know if this makes sense. Would be more than happy to figure this out and open a PR.
