error: pathspec 'dotbot' did not match any file(s) known to git

Hi,

I just wanted to get started so I generated a repository from this template. Then:

git clone https://github.com/felipecassiors/dotfiles "$HOME/.dotfiles"
./dotfiles/install

And after running the install, this is the output:

error: pathspec 'dotbot' did not match any file(s) known to git

I suspect this issue is due to how the GitHub Template works, because if you look at my dotfiles repository generated by this, there is no dotbot folder.

Am I the only one?

what does action not handled means?

I have this in my install.conf.yaml

  • clean: ['~']

  • link:
    ~/.config/nvim: nvim/

and copied ~/.config/nvim to the dotfiles repo but ./install show
An error was encountered while executing action link
Action link not handled
Action ~/.config/nvim not handled

==> Some tasks were not executed successfully
how to fix that

I don't know where else to ask help
