irec's Issues

Recording uses 90% of CPU

While recording, iRec can sometimes use up to 90% of the device CPU and as a result, the system kills the app from the percentage being so high. This is especially noticeable on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. To observe the issue, debug your device while running iRec through Xcode, and notice how much of the CPU is active while recording. If you find a fix, please create a pull request, and I will test it. Thanks!

iOS 9 Support

iRec in its current state does not record on iOS 9. This is one of the reasons I decided to make the source public, so other developers can help with this issue. The problem lies in opening the framebuffer (the method named "openFramebuffer" in "ScreenRecorder.m") โ€“ the function called "IOMobileFramebufferGetLayerDefaultSurface". This, if successful, should return 0, however, it returns a large negative number on iOS 9. The problem has been posted on StackOverflow here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32239969/iomobileframebuffergetlayerdefaultsurface-not-working-on-ios-9. If any developers have a solution, please submit a pull request! It will be greatly appreciated!

Error while building

While I'm running the app I'm getting this error:
/Frameworks/Fabric.framework/run: Permission denied
any clue?

looking for a easy compile and run app

this app needs work to run i am no expert but most apps i compile of github and just compile and run i can see it needing a little setup but at least explain what to do i don't see the point in posting something if you are completely unsure on what you are doing love the app though its sad that the app is not gonna be open for iOS 10 because that means no apple watch app :( apps watch apps need a lot of work to be resigned and this means you need a dev account to create all the bundle id's and such
